The accreditation process brings significant value to our organizations as it focuses a great deal on ensuring we have the appropriate systems and processes in place to fullfill or mission, as well as to continually improve. I have found that completing a self-study and preparing for a site visit helps organizations look at themselves objectively across all areas, as well as integration across functional areas, that is healthy and tends to spur further improvement.
