We agree in the importance of community outreach. Being members of professional associations is key. There are many other organizations in our communities such as economic development boards, Lions and Rotary, charitable organizations and more. Many would welcome presentations about the careers your institution trains for. Getting out to talk with employers is also part of community outreach.
