I agree with you that this is a very useful tool and requirment in order to become a licensed admissions representative. You are taking a position that requires you to inform students and parents of all of their instituitions policies, and it is very important that you are familiar with all of it.

I believe that this training is so important for people working in the admissions department. This is the third college I have worked for and only the first time I have taken this training. I feel that all colleges should require admissions staff to take this. It is very helpful in terms of licensing information, rules and refulations and best practices. I also think its a great idea to keep a notebook or information and to update it regularly.
