Compliance

I originally started on the course with some misgivings, feeling that from a time perspective it was simply pushing out other areas that I would rather buy out my time with. As I progressed in the course, however, and as I discovered that I was re-learning some important things that I needed some refreshment in, I gained an appreciation for the course content and a much better attitude about checking in to complete the coursework.

As others have so well mentioned, we are dealing with others' lives here. So it is incumbant upon us as admissions professionals to be professional, including keeping up with every important aspect of our industry, regulatory issues and a multi-faceted knowledge of our institutions included.

Having worked as an Admissions Representative with several schools for several years I'm glad that our organization is primarily focused on compliance.  I have learned a great deal through our Agent training.
