Such an informative course. This allowed me to take a step back and try to 'view myself' as my students see me. Equally, to observe other instructors and their styles is really useful advice that I have already utilized.
It is so valuable to be open to taking personal and professional inventory. I have found that If I am open to actually hearing myself and watching my student's responses to me- I can fin the "sweet spot" where I have them totally engaged.
I agree with you! perhaps instructors should not take themselves so seriously. Granted, many of us are used to the 'brick and mortar" education; therefore it is difficult not to be a machine with information. Great response!
