Criticism can be very difficult to hear. It is important to respond in a way that can help you grow as a person in the workplace. It is crucial for both the person receiving the feedback and the person delivering the feedback are being heard. Although it can be difficult to hear, some criticism can be very helpful.

I have to constantly share feedback with my students and this is always an area that I struggle in. This tutorial helped me understand some ways to give feedback appropriately. I loved when it discussed ways that you can show that your information is serious, but you can show concern for the employee/student through your body language. 

I think communication can be the single most important thing in the workplace and classroom. This tutorial had great information on different types of communication that I haven't considered before. I will think of this tutorial often to ensure I am using the most effective form of communication.

Collaboration is always effective

The tutorial was great, and what i plan to do is use the tools most effective to that individual. I also learned when teaching a group use different types of muli-media because everyone learns differently.

Conflict in the workplace is a natural occurance of interacting with one another and cost of resolving conflict is relative to the cost of leaving clnflicts unresolved.  Although it is best to determine whether it is a long or short term working relationship when deciding whether or not to addresses.  In all instances in conflict resolution it is always best to work on your listening skills to be objective, empathic and open to trying to understand the other person's feelings and underlying issues that may change the dynamics of each situation.

Success of the presentation is largely determined by the degree of interaction between the Presenter and the Audience.

Presentations require some form of communication. Thus making it an imperative tool. Being able to communicate to the audice effectivly is determined how well the person can obtain and reflect the information properly. 

Communication is a vital tool that needs to be implemented in all settings of the workforce. Being a nurse that I am, communication is vital to properly taking care of patients.

I will communcate the best way with each individual situation and group.  Either by memo or face to face depending on the situation.  Each person accepts information differently also and that needs to be taken into consideration when communicating with people

What I have learned is that both methods of communication are vital to effective communication. As educators we need to pay attention to both verbal and non-verbal forms.

I believe we must use all means possible to convey the information being taught, to a wide variety of mixed learning types.

I think class policies are essential to setting up the foundation for the learning environment.  It gives the students direction as to what is acceptable and not acceptable in the classroom. 

it all boils down to confidence and being able to relay your points and message to the audience.

I conduct mock interview with students and alumni interviews for a university and in both instances I can get a very good feel for a person's character based on their body language.
