I just completed ED 104 course and feel like I learned a lot from this course. I am a new instructor and this course helped me prepare for my teaching assignments, how to act, how to interact with students, how to recognize common problems that may occur and how to deal with them. I feel more prepared to take on this new role after completing this course.

I JUST COMPLETED ED 106 AND FOUND THAT, FOR THE MOST PART, I WAS ABLE TO GLEAN FEW ASPECTS THAT I HAVE NOT HAD IN PAST ED COURSES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON 50 YEARS AGO. I DO NOT ENJOY RFE-INVENTING THE WHEEL ONCE SOME HIGHER POWER ENFORCES A GROUP ACTIVITY SUCH AS THIS BECAUSE THEY CAN, NOPT INQUIRING IF THE PEWRSON HAS ALREADY DONE THE SAME MATERIAL BEFORE.

I too took this course and found it very rewarding. I would also recommend EL 102. It has excellent information for a new instructor but also good reminders for those of us who have been teaching for a while. It reinforces many things we may already do.
