ED110

I encounter a lot of demands that result in stress in both my personal and professional life. I will becreating a list of my stress factors and utilizing the reduce/emilinate methods first. For the stress factors that cannot be reduced or eliminated I will be coping using the sharing, exercise, sleep, and breathing methods. Stress can be harmful to one's health and reducing, eliminating, and coping will help one lead a healthier life. In addition, teaching students to use these methods will also reduce stress by creating a healthier and happier environment in the classroom.

As a massage therapy instructor, one would think that I would have lots of opportunity to reduce stress. However, as the program director, I don't get on the table as often as i could use it.  One way I have found to help aleviate the stress is to use meditation in the classroom. It is the way I start classes and it makes the environment condusive to learning.

I haven't made out my list of stressors, yet. I see how it can be helpful, but for some reason, the thought of actually writing out my stressors is stressing me out. Has anyone incorporated this along with the to-do list? If so, have you found it helpful?

Hello Shonna,

I am so thrilled to be the member of Max Knowledge learning center. This prgram has made my teaching activities much better then it used to be. I know now how to keep my students active in my class rooms and teach them more effective ways.

Working at a post secondary school, I encounter students that range in age from 18 to 65.  The E112 course was helpful specifically in motivating adult students.
