I am very happy that I did this session. It reaffirmed many steps I learned when I began teaching. After 18 years I loss sight of somethings and I will start yousing them again. One in particular concerned greeting the students as they arrive. Another is using the index cards to gather information about each student. I always share with them the type of learner I am and how this knowledge helps me. Ninety percent of the student have been out of school for a while {as noted}, and have no idea about how they are going to meet this challenge. The information will be used in each of my classes. I will revamp my lesson plan to assist them more in preparing for class.
