I would almost dare to say that students should have to take a course like this, where they learn their rights. I am pretty sure that when I enrolled into school years ago, someone went over the information with me; however, it got lost in the shuffle. I think it is very important that you aren't just told your rights, but that you KNOW your rights. There is a big difference there. I have spent some time in public education, so knowing about confidentiality is ingrained in me! I try to protect my students and their information at all times. -Kimberly Taybron
