This course helped me to see the fucntion of the instructor as a part of the support system for students need.  I do enjoy working with students and understanding what I can do to help them through the program. If I do not have a plan to assist them with I know I can offer them support from the advisors, department heads, and the deans. 

It is important to everyone to know the chain of command for students to take when they are in need.  I also need to look into the channels that best guide students. When instructors have knowledge and guidance themselves, they can offer students support.  Students always like to know positive feedback whether it is from their own instructor or someone else who can give them direction.

I am sure we do not want our students feeling alone and ignored so let's guide them along their journey!
