This course is inspiring with many tools.  Starts you thinking creatively on how to engage students through on-line media.  Exciting!

SecondLife brain island looks like an amazing way to engage students in learning part of the brain and the areas of function in Neurology.

We already use file sharing software since our courses are blended with on campus and on-line components.

This would be beneficial in engaging the millenials.  What about some older students who are not as versed in technology?  Would we lose them in the classroom/learning experience because they would get caught up in difficulty with navigating the technology?

Students engage more once they are comfortable with the online experience.

I like to use Drive, Docs, and Forms to interact with students and capitalize on limited instruction time by having students complete supplementary study activities in their free time. (I don’t particularly like the term “Homework.”)
