I used the matching notecard activity in my class yesterda, and it went really well. I will use it again.

I'm going to try the index card matching activity today and the ball toss at the end, if we have time. Very excited to try these out!

This course gets you thinking about creative ideas to drive the information home.

The Shower Cap and sheet idea I will use for brain anatomy and the sheet for afferent and efferent nerve impulses.  Also gets you thinking about breaking class up into two groups.  Pain stimulus, afferent nerves, brain, efferent nerves, muscle action.  Could make up a really interesting and fun activity.

The Event Cards are a great idea to help with critical thinking.  Also the Dots, especially when I have a student who is not interacting with their CI.  I can adapt this exercise to get them to ask more questions, consult with the CI on treatment prior to the session and interact with the CI when a patient's status has changed.

This was very beneficial in learning how to teach a lot of difficult content and make it interesting.  As well as it allows the teacher to discuss them with the student, start them to think critically, make good clinical decisions and assess their understanding of the content in a fun way.  I particularly liked the "Weakest Link" Activity.

It is actually easy to incorporate learning activities into a Medical Terminology lesson.

Even though there is a lot or memorization involved in learning Medical Terminology, it can still be fun when using engaging activities.

Fatigue signs and their respective names.  Peer language and its effectiveness in learning.

I will never look at pizza the same.  Great exercises.
