Data will provide justification for 'the ask' when it comes funding.  Data can also be manipulated any which way to support whatever it is you are pitching.  It's a sales ally.

In looking to expand our course offerings beyond our current industry, there is a lot to consider and avenues I hadn't considered.  This module gave me some good ideas on who to reach out to in order to do some due diligence.

I am one of those who couldn't understand why we needed a library if everything is online.  Now I am rethinking a small computer lab with some reference material.

This section made me think about student services a little differently and how it interacts with my compliance person.  I may restructure or org accordingly.

The 5 year plan along with the Institutional Advisory Committee ensures that all are on the same page.  It provides a buy-in and a focus for all involved.

Creating a 5-year plan helps demonstrate goals to achieve and strive for. It also shows the company you are serious about working there, and potentially retiring with them.

It's key to not only plan for courses and programmes but to also plan for the necessary physical space such as libraries which are necessary to promote self-learning and life-long learning skills in addition to labs (computer, science, art, etc) and any other facilities required accoding to the selected programmes.

I learnt that schools should be proactive in order to retain students which can be employed through various ways, maybe the most applicable in my country are the following:

• Graduation celebrations
• Exit interviews
• Internships when possible
• Students' counselling and career counseling
• Career exhibition to learn about career perspectives and requirements.

5 year planning can boost your employees feelings of job security and help you  maintaing growth as well as facilitating marketing strategy. It is essential to include a representative sample of staff, students. alumini and other stakeholders.
