Lab courses are a great way to incorporate the kinesthetic, aural, and visual learning styles. Often during lab activities, I provide a written description of the skill that is to be learned, along with a picture representation of it. I demonstrate the skill myself while aurally describing each step, and then the students pair up in teams or groups to practice the skill.
