All Faculty should be working closely to ensure that as best that we can we all are on the same page. This maybe difficult at times, but if we make an effort all students would benefit. We need to know something about each department to better serve our students and give them direction for questions that we are not familiar with.

Student Expectations

I feel that in order to assess what students expect, we are to explain what the nature of the course is that they are enrolled in. Be willing to answer all questions to help alleviate anxiety in the beginning. Set the trend for classes in an atmosphere that will be conducive to learning.

Promising a job in the chosen profession.

I am proud to say that not one of our faculty as ever stated to students that upon graduation they all are guarenteed to obtasin a position in their chosen profession. This certainly leads to misinformation.

Treating students how we would like to be treated.

I feel it is very important to tell are students exactly what is expected and what guidelines we must follow as well. This is how I prefer to be treated as an adult. I do believe that this work ethic also says alot for the facility that we work in. Our reputation in the community is one that we all should be proud of as educators.

Informing students of their status.

I keep my students informed of their current status at least every two weeks. Problem learners are advised by me to use a student tutor and readjust their learning styles. Students may also meet with me during specified office hours.

Learning methods.

In order to meet all the different learning styles in the classroom, I feel that as an instuctor one of my main objectives is to adjust my teaching style to meet this variety of student learner.

Every instuctors main goal should be to educate or students. We should always try our best to bring out the positives in each and every student. Their success is also our benfit in turning out better professionals.

Personality of the Instuctor

The personality of the instuctor and their mood sets the atmosphere for the class on a daily basis in my opinion. The attitude should be one that is friendly and respectable. Always professional.
