I have learned that my classroom demeanor has a major impact on retention. Getting students involved to place them in their comfort zone is critical.

I feel that the student need to understand termonolgy and symbols before any training will be effective. The students will further be in a more comfortable zone with this information up front.

I do know that we engage heavily here at UTI in learner lead training. I find this to be an extremely poweful tool in spreading the information effectively and quickly.

Groups as a learning style is a great training style. I feel that this needs to be monitored close as often there are students involved that do not work well in groups and may need a slightly different role to engage in this type of traning

We in CRRT Pit Stop use the music to set the mood for the type of training that we are delivering. We find that this is a great motivational source.

I find that using music in the classroom is a way of increasing participation however the music chosen will alter moods and needs to be carefully selected to meet the needs of the training being delivered.
I find that the facilition process can be handled in multiple fashions. Getting the students involved by letting them choose from a variety of available training methods can generate buy in.

Adapting to learning styles of the students will win buy in from the students that would ordinarily struggle. This will contribute to class control.
