Lighting

In delivering lectures, its essential that the learner has enough lighting to enable him write I think the normal flourescent lighting is allright. As for videos, deeming the light permits the students to see better. Simply deeming the light makes the environment calmer for the students. Total darkness is an invitation for some students to sleep

i find that making the students comfortable with asking questions this will open the door for the studets that might be uncomfortable with speaking in public or afraid to ask the questions

It is important that the instructor should keep checking his or her email now and then, and shold set up adefinite schedule for the students for their assignments

buddy system

From my experience the buddy system only works when the instructor is involved and can hear what is transpiring between the others. I have had students advise giving the wrong information. It is so very important to share with the instructor the information being passed on.

I would say that there are some students whose ambition outweighs their ability and potential. While they can, with effort and time, learn the same materials as their peers and perform the same tasks.

The success strategies suggested in this course helps deal with students with English as the learning language. And also the point that many of these success strategies can even help with students outside this group.

Group assigents are liked by averarge or poor students. Good students might dislike it as they feel like they are doing all the work Having groups they make new friends, exchange phone numbers etc. which helps later on as they help each other and try to work on homework assignments.
