  Learning  to write never ends. In clinical setting, we encourage students to write their care about the patients using medical terminologies learned, correct spelling, correct grammar and sentence structures. We validate the progress notes and documentation of care tomake sure  that those documentations are what they meant to say and valid to patient's plan of care. Most of the time I find it difficult for them to write  appropriate plan of care for each patient's condition .

Clinical performance on site is a valuable tool to gauge how well the student will perform in the workpalce in the future. I always assess their motivation to learn, attendance and attitude towards patients as potential clients. Those with great motivation to learn always ends up finding a job sometimes on area of clinical practice.

   I believe that as an instructor we need to be familiar and  have mastery of the content of learning materials or information we want to teach to the students. In clinical site we need to follow steps according to the what book says at times rather that follwing what is being practiced by the staff on our clinical site.

 Simulation labs really helps the students in performing skills at the clinical area. In clinical setting , if we  have skills need to perform , it is really very helpful to ask the students what they learned and remember during skill labs .  Allowing the students to perform during skills labs helps them to build confidence to perform the procedure at clinical areas.
