Definitely splitting the students in groups of 5 or 6 for discussions has been very helpful over the past six months. It did give everyone the opportunity to participate, and avoid having them to speak in front of the entire class.
The idea of posting both a video and its print transcript (as common sense as it might seem!) struck me as a rather novel strategy. In the past, I only did one or the other. Definitely, I plan to adjust my method.
The sequencing of modules needs to follow the most logical progression of content delivery, to ensure that the students are able to aquire the necessary knowledge in the most effective manner possible. As Match knowledge is primarily an incremental process (what you learned yesterday applies tomorrow) the structure of a course becomes paramount.
