The use of materials, new technology  and refering back to notes will always be a great way to help students understand lesson.

Objectives help guide where the lesson is intended to guide us .

Lessons plans are  awesome tool to have.

Planning lecture wisely and using other resources is the best execution for student's excitement. 

We need to review what grading policy is in place  and when students are failing have a meeting with them. Student meetings are important to remind them the grading policy needs to followed and the consequences of actions. 

Have a plan B just in case students are not in engaging and you want to draw curiosity of the topic again.

Using different mediums is very helpful to keep the students engaged  with the topic .

Being prepared a day before makes things run smooth and no tension is building up with in yourself on the day of class. The students are aware when an instructor is not ready and trying to prepare to lecture or doing a project.

I forget student's name so I decided to say thier names 4 times during class just to refresh my mind quickly. I also forget about  giving them a break time. I apologize after we laugh & I will say" I am human & make mistakes so please remind me when it is break time to stop feeding your brain too much  information".  

Monitoring students from back of room is something I will implement. I usually walk around to make sure they are not cheating.
