Hello: I often ask my students to be proactive with regard to their Financial Status with the school. I let them know that the financial representatives are there to help them understand the process and to make sure that things are inline with all the regulations and filed in a timely manner. I let the student know that in doing this they can stave off any issues with the ability to stay in school and stay on track to graduation.

Hello: I teach in the business section of my school. There are no state certifications for my students upon graduation. However; I encourage them to continue their education and achieve some form of certification. This will open many doors of opportunity for them in the future. My teaching is geared toward the student being able to preform basic accounting/business functions in the work place as well as to take a basic entrance aptitude test in accounting at the interview level.

Hello: As an Adjunct I do not get much exposure to the administrative part of my school. However; I leave the door open for my students to ask questions. I do not answer any questions I do not feel qualified to answer. So I will ask the director for the correct response or I refer the student to the correct person to find the answer.

Hello: During my courses I often apply concepts and principles to real world applications. I also try to challenge my students to do the same/or to use their current experiences to apply the material.I feel that if there is not a connection between the class and the working environment then this material is lost.

Hello I have a current student in my Accounting 101 and she is feeling overwhelmed. I have a meeting with her before class next week. I hope to help her overcome some of her anxiety. Any help?

Alice: I have only been teaching Face to Face for the last few months. I have been online for over a year. The face to face needs more planning and preparations. I have been teaching a few of the same courses from term to term and this has allowed me to continue to build a structured format in my courses. I feel that more of these courses here at MaxKnowledge I will be able to build a firm foundation for my classroom.

Hello: As I enter the classroom. I try to put my self in the place of my students. In doing this I'm able to remember how I learned different sections of my material being covered. I have kept notes over the years and how I developed my learning process in school. I apply this to my classroom and students.

Hello: The first day of class sets the tone for the course as a whole. If you are not prepared to start the course you loose the confidence of the students.

Hello: I have found the more I put into my class prior to the class the better the class moves along. This preparation also allows the students to see my commitment to the material and their success in the classroom.

Hello: I have only been teaching face to face for the last 6 months. As I move along I have been developing a style. This course has helped me to find clues as to how to further develop my style and approach to the classroom. I look forward to further course work here and the exchange of ideas with other teachers.
