I found that the way we interact with the students does have an impact on the future of the students. We can help the students with the showing them the right attitude and how they can be more successful.

I found this to be important to see both students and co-workers as customers. I can teach the students to look at this in a different light. If the students look at this as a job and how to handle a customer in the proper mannor, this might help them succeed in the real world.

It's great when you teach a student on how to do something. Not just showing them how to do it, but to do it right and give them an extra pat on the back for a job well done. So far, all of my students really appriciate the word of encouragement.

Understanding the student. Some days students are on top of thier game in the lab, other days not so... As an Instructor, we are not just an Instructor, we are someone each student looks up to. They look up to us for not just school stuff, but stuff that also has to do with life. Lets all try our best to guide them in the right direction...
I was able to gain alot of strategies in teaching the adult learners. I keep their attention focused on what we need to learn today (day by day)... Tomorrow is a new day with more and better topics.
Each and every time try to bring up the discussion of job placement. Keep them interested in the field that they are trying to get a good education on. Nothing can take there knowledge and skills away from them.
Keeping Students Attention is Key to keeping them coming to class. Interaction is also a good way to have them get involved.

Orientation and Mentoring a student are a great way to help a student. This gives them more self confidence.

Knowing alittle bit of the potential students back-ground is a little key in helping them succeed.

Being there for the students, show them that they have what it takes to succeed. Give them a helping hand. Make each day count, make each day a sucess day.
