In clinical setting the grade is PASS or NOT PASS. How can I emphesize good students?

I have a student that every time someone needs to perform a new skill she gets histerical. She would ask the person "are you sure you can do it? Sit and think it through, You are so brave for trying" I have to shoosh her. She is so histerical that she refuses to try staff herself. How can I help her. I even tried few times to "walk her throu" the steps without success

When a student needs to do a new skill, he/she verbilized to me fisrt the steps that requires for the skill. Then if he/she agrees more students are coming to watch and learn

Sometimes I think that I am ore excited about nursing than some of my students. The students know that we need to help the patients eat meals but sometimes the students are taking long lunch themselves and do not help the patients. I would be the only one that help. When I ask them why they did not help they would normally response "helping patients eat is a CNA job" I response that there is nothing like "CNA job" and that there are more RNs than CNA and that they can help. In clinica I do not teach any sunject. But when I see that the students are lack of knowledge in a subject I make tham an overview of that sunbject with short quiz. Are there any other ideas to help them learn?
I have a student who abandent a patient and did not tell me about it. The student left the unit and it took over 90 minutes to find her. What to say in situation like that?

In clinical how can I ask a question that lead to the right answer. For example, if a patient is taking medication name Lasix that one of the side affects is low potassium. What kind of question can I ask to help the student get the right answer
I am a clinical instructor where students learn "hands on". I help them shift the classroom knowledge to "real life" How can I help a student who does not initiate and control of his care?
