For instance "Our MA program has the best completion and job placement rate in the school" The use of the superlative needs to be supported by the graduation and job placement facts for MA and compared to other programs for the superlative to be accurate. A superlative can be a truthful statement. The damage of a superlative takes place when the student has specific daily class times and was mislead by the superlative above. James Faulkner

Maya, I agree. There are even opportunities to use superlatives that support the documented facts. What is missing when a superlative is used is the objective facts that allow a student to make a judgement based on their own values. James Faulkner
