Scott, This is a good tool for students to take advantage of when not in class or when needing more information than the general course material provided from a course. Many student do not take advantage of resources like this or an online library or even reputable videos from YouTube. We has faculty should more often have graded task that require outside resources to be used. Antoine Lewis

Nicole, I can understand that a payroll course would not be an attention getter. I like to often use case studies and have one student be the customer and one be the accountant and then switch roles getting them to understand the importance of what they should be looking for in certain situations along with the videos you mentioned could help with engagement. Teresita,

I agree that the adult learner often times has outside variables that impact them getting a degree. I believe online classes, 1 night a week courses or competency based course is a good option for these students.

Audrey, When you can provide visual aid to your content it always helps in better understanding the material. I feel with most students using visual aid will reading or speaking is best and benefits the audience (students). Antoine Lewis

Audrey, I agree that animation and/or simulations make the learning experience better for students. In my experience I feel this most help the students who are bored in class or with a certain subject matter as it increases participation. Antoine Lewis

Katrena , I feel that when teaching onsite and online you mix up your teaching methods as needed to benefit both audiences when it comes to learning styles as you are doing with the various technologies you incorporate. Clickers are a great active learning approach- "Tell me, I'll forget. Show me, I'll remember. Involve me, I'll understand" Antoine Lewis

Patricia, The website for the courses is always great but adding the audio/visual aspect often helps students better understand what they are reading and studying in the text. Antoine Lewis
