What sort of issues do you generally deal with in this way, Stephen? Do you have any sessions that are proactive rather than reactive?
How long has the school been calling students who respond to the end of term survey, Tina? Long enough to know whether this encourages or discourages participation? My guess is that some students wouldn't respond because they wouldn't want to get the call.
Thanks great news, Lisa. I promise it doesn't always work that way. Frequently there is a small group of outliers who make it difficult for everyone else.

This can be very useful for your students, Anjali. How often are referrals made? How often are they accepted? What are the results?
Lisa, sounds like a good move; I'm surprised that standardized norms weren't in place before. Have you had resistance from faculty about this change? Do they feel that their prerogatives have been taken away?
Stephen, how often do you go through this feedback process and how many changes are typically made in one of those cycles?

Jessica, how many students does the Career Services Director work with at any one time? Does he spend time in the classroom doing formal presentations?
Stephen, what actions have been taken as a result of these temperature checks? How do the students react to the conversations?
Interesting that you mention the mission statement, Shawn. Are your colleagues able to recite the mission and values? Are they that deeply engrained in your institution's culture?
Azra , aren't you concerned that by waiting two weeks to distribute IDs you're telling students the IDs really aren't that necessary and that it's more important to save a couple cents on the ones you might have to discard?
