Veronica, Yes, both multiple choice and true / false formats can significantly speed grading. Note that these formats can still challenge students. For example, with multiple choice, you can build in answers like 'All of the above' and 'None of the above.' Dr. Melissa Read
Roberta, Yes, there are some tasks that are so pressing that we cannot wait to assess them on our To Do lists. This is ok, as long as these are the exceptions and not the rules. Otherwise, we might find ourselves struggling with immediacy issues. Dr. Melissa Read
Vanessa, Go ahead and give sharing a try. You might be surprised with the outcome. While it's important not to over share or overburden our friends and families, opening up a little can actually be rewarding to the relationship. It can really help friends and family understand where we are coming from, and relate to us through our shared experiences. Dr. Melissa Read
Mindy, Our motivation for completing tasks can vary daily, even hourly, so you are not as unusual as you think! Trying to bring the right level of motivation when it really counts is the key. When we've got a lot of deadlines or tasks to complete, that's when we've got to bring our A games. In other times, it's ok to be a little more relaxed in our approach. Dr. Melissa Read
Mindy, That's tough! I hope this course content balances out any stress you might experience in having to complete CEE requirements. Hopefully you have picked up a few handy techniques that you can take with you into the future. Dr. Melissa Read

Conni, This is an important point. Many of us are great at setting expectations in the workplace but not at home. This can lead to challenges with family and friends as we try to balance our personal responsibilities. Communicating our needs and limits can make a big differences in our personal relationships. Dr. Melissa Read
Eurico, So true. Both exercise as well as sharing are great outlets. These outlets no only reduce stress and tension, they can also keep us healthy as well. Dr. Melissa Read
Sheila, That's great thinking. Thanks for sharing. Yes, multiple choice don't necessarily have to be easy. By including 'Select all that Apply' as well as 'None of the Above' or 'Some of the Above,' we continue to challenge our students. Dr. Melissa Read

Vanessa, That sounds like a tough spot. On one hand, with all of your hands on experience, you probably have a lot more to offer your students than many of your colleagues. On the other hand, trying to communicate that information in a framework that is too ridged likely feels incredibly limiting. Dr. Melissa Read
Ellen, Yes, for someone in your position, a to-do list will help a lot. Putting pen to paper on your tasks and prioritizing them with give you the confidence you need to focus on the most important tasks first! Dr. Melissa Read
