Rubric, test or quiz can be use as an assessment. Feedback to students should be specific and on time. I was able to understood the difference in between difference between summative and formative assessment.
The Syllabus serves as a guide of what the student should expect and learn from the course. Creating an interactive Syllabus is very important for the student and the course to be succesfull.
Consistancy is very important: languaje, font, format. Using templates facilitate the developing of a course. Use visual and sound tools as necessary. And test, test, test in order to achieve the course objective
Critical thinking can be challenging to some students. Instructor has to guide and encourage the students to trust themselves
Studying-centered-learning allows the student to take control of their progress.
Always have a "Plan B".
Student has the responsibility to research, learn, share understand. Allows the students to work independently and share with the community.
Rubrics are a great way for students know what to expect.
Providing feedback its important and helps the student to understand why its wrong.
HAving a clear baseline of where the students are will help the instructor when preparing the classes, assessments and quizzes.
