Creating a "Learning Objectives Database" will help save time when authoring modules, especially sonce we'll have to stay flexible and continue to tweak templates as we go. 

 

This unit was most helpful to notice how low participation levels can lead to higher attrition, especially in e-learning environments. When tackled early (through personal emails, guiding/encouraging them, looking for helpful "ins" from their bios), they'll be more likely to engage and stay the course. 

 

It was valuable to think about how intentional to be about online feedback. Since our verbal and physical cues will be missing, getting creative to communicate the proper tone was neat to think about. 

 

I thought it was a great point to consider students in different time zones when it comes to setting your office hours. That attention to detail and consideration would really make a student feel seen. 

 

Learning the platform is key to success as a teacher and student, espeically since it might be the individual's first contact with online learning.
