Rich feedback is detailed and descriptive.

Rubrics can be adapted from other resources as long as they are reliable and fair and valid. 

It is important to use reliable rubrics in peer assessment.

Effective communication is clear, concise, professional and appropriate.

Students need to have a good understanding of the time commitment of online learning. They need to understand that 3 to 5 hours of work outside of "class time" is necessary for preparation and homework.They need to understand that online learning is as much of a commitment as F 2 F learning.

Rubrics are useful tool in preparing the students for an assignment as well as evaluating their performance.

I understand the importance of feedback. It is not something I am very good at. I will try to focus on providing more and more helpful feedback to my students.

Self-assessment may also be another area of focus. I may try to add more of this to my classes going forward.
