It is always important to let students know how they need to follow directions in the classroom. Talking to a studnet privately instead in front of other studnets has worked, because I am able to hear them out and make sure we have a conversation.

I always begin class by greeting my students, once they are all ready to go I have a ice breaker with them and make sure everyone is comfortbale in  the classroom. I introduce myself and go over grading, assignments, etc.

Gamification helps the atmoosphere in the class, and makes learning fun for students.

Using personal experiences has helped carry on a great conversation in the classroom

Today, we need technology for everything especially when many of the assignments are done online

Learing different methos to teach in the classroom

it is important to leanr about other generations to see hw things have changed and how we can better understand studnets of all ages.

I liked the part where it talked about using personal experinece as examples. We all have diferent life experiences, and incorporating that in the classroom would be great. It also engages the students.

The info help me see that I can be helpful to all kinds of students of any generation.

Growing up in the 90's and 2000's I began with a VCR, overheads at school, no cell phones. As I grew up more things were being invented and I was bale to live through that. I believe technology has changed the world and the way we learn. But it is a great tool to use. Every generation got to see inventions of their own and the way the learned is different. No matter what, in the classroom we should always remeber that not everyone is tech savvy so we need to help in any way we can.
