In many ways the thinking behind the methodology is the same as in class instruction.

Curious as to why the recommendation to only allow one attempt on an exam when this very online course allows a retake?

The idea of usng guest speakers in an online format which could be recorded and made available for later use is an idea I would like to incorporate.

An online class requires much more pre-planning than an in-person class. Organization and active engagement are key. While an experienced teacher might be able to "wing it" on a given lesson, this can not be done online.

My goal is to treat every student as an individual and to give each the same opportunities to be successful.

Most of these strategies actually apply to general educational best practices and are already being applied.

Other than the specific statistical numbers I was already familiar with most of the information presented.

While TBI and PTSD have some similarities, they are quite different afflictions. I plan to implement this knowledge by reviewing all of my current IEP's to determine how I can best assist these students.

I deal with a student population with an extremely high risk of PTSD. I found it interesting that the the driving factor which led to the currnt understanding of PTSD was driven by war time occurrences.
