Betsy, Great feedback...do you have any examples of activities you have actually used in class with this technology? Dr. Ruth Reynard

My approach, Diana, is to focus on classroom leadership and student success rather than managment.  That is, to focus on the process of learning and energizing students, so the instructional design is vital... the design of the activities, the clasroom flow and eva@dweihrauch : luation of learning.  If there is a purpose in everything, students tend to work better than if things are scattered and not well prepared or planned.

Edward, There are software catalogues of images, graphs, resources etc for various subject areas. This means you don't have to be an artist but if you can locate the useable resources, the technology helps with brainstorming, collaboration, and distribution. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Edward, Very true and great examples! Information can be quickly accessed and quickly modified/edited without much hassle these days :) Dr. Ruth Reynard
Dr. Glenn , So really, the kinds of skills looked for increasingly by employers such as problem solving, team work, and collaboration can be more easily developed using new technology. Good points! Dr. Ruth Reynard
Mara, Good examples...thank you! If you have time, please visit the Faculty Lounge and post in the instructional forum...sharing these kinds of ideas is always helpful. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Suzanne, Yes, so instructors need to become aware of the process and the skills used to accomplish. These skills may be new but none the less valuable. Dr. Ruth Reynard
