Discussion Comment
Margarette, Agreed!! :) Yes, the role of teachers is now to guide more than source, however, teachers now must be aware of the kinds of information available and sites that actually benefit the learner. Therefore, teachers must go on learning themselves about technology and how it can change entire learning experiences for their students. Dr. Ruth Reynard

Peter, Do you use online videos as well? When I taught chefs about teaching, we focused on using overhead cameras for demonstrations. Once these are archived and published on the Internet, students can access to ongoijg learning. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Margarette, Very well said! Yes, dynamic learning does require a lot of work from both students and instructors. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Dr. Naomi, Yes, the changes are not only with delivery but methods and processes. I think "blended" will become the norm for every class as online increases real time connections and on ground increases online connections. Good discussion. Dr. Ruth Reynard
James, My only issue is that I do not see how your points (good points) disproves the "label"...which is only there to identify the characteristics you have listed :) Dr. Ruth Reynard
Rebecca, I agree and are changing student expectations, thought processes and time on task. Huge impact on teaching and learning. Dr. Ruth Reynard

Cynthia, I encourage you to keep experimenting with the technology and various ways these tools can enrich the learning experience. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Discussion Comment
Rebecca, Very true....new kinds and sizes of phones are influencing this technology. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Rebecca, Yes, there are still gaps in use of technology so instructors have to be aware of this. Managing this learning curve in class makes sense. Dr. Ruth Reynard
