About me

Sandra Young a native Washingtonian born in the District of Columbia attended DC Public Schools until the age of 14.  Then relocated in Maryland a year or two.  Had my first son at the age of sixteen and moved back to the District for five years.  I left high school 1979.  In 1980 I completed high school by attending night school.  In 1981, I return to school by Trade in Office Skills under the Washington School for Secretaries where I received my diploma in the trade in 1982,.  I always wanted to go to college therefore, I registered to find that I could not afford it, but never gave up.  I entered Prince George's Community College and received my Associate's Degree in Business Management.  After then, I continued and received my Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies under Maryland University Global College.  I'm considered a Lifelong Learner where I continue to learn different majors.  I worked in Elementary Education for over 17 years under the Special Educational and Computer Science Departments.

My greatest accomplishment is raising my three sons in a loving Christian home ,and they are now working citizens with great potentials.  The second greatest accomplishment is meeting my wonderful husband of 33 years this August.  Yes, it hasn't been the fairy tale live happily ever after, but constance loving over and over again.  My third accomplishment is leading a group of students to win an award of being the sixth elementary school to become a Green School in Maryland under the MAEOE in 2016.  Now, I'm very proud of being a President of an Association volunteerily (2019-2020) while leading a group of teacher in my church's Children's Church and Nursery (2018-2020).

Under the module, there are several know how to do for the instructor.  The instuctor must know how to create the roster, assess the student, ask provoking questions, form groups for student breakout, design, deliver, and know the material.

Reply to Courtney Minor's post:  I'm impressed that you said you must know how to convey the instructions of the materials in various ways because not all students learn the same.
