Yes effective questioning comes from the understanding the material and students backgrounds and using examples they understand.

This is very beneficial in remembering to be diverse on how you present materials to the students. And use all the ways if possible for them to learn th best way.

Definitely being an expert on the subject help, but so does showing the students we all make mistakes, also having empathy for them will help them to be more engaged in class also. Also showing clarity about something and putting it in terms or using there background to explain something help out tremendousl.

This area is hard to create but I think it also make things easier on everyone in the class in the long run. Being enthusitic about the material and the class is important othrewise the student will emulate your behavio. I've also used the rewards idea in class and students really like it, it also allows the rapport with them to grow In a positive way.

I've learned that you need to understand your students background and where they come from to allow you to teach them better. I would also say that getting to know them will also allow more conversational interaction between the student and the class, or the instructor, which may allow the instructor to help guide the student for help. Also who can help them besides the instructors.

Students have to literate at both literacy and languag. This will help them to be successful in the learning environment, but they also have to understand that literacy in the English language is needed in some fields of expertise that they are working in.

Yes totally agree if you don't pay attention to all these things, the students learning environment will be very blah and bland in all aspects. Plus the students wont be as engaged as if this was imp to the teache and or schools.

This is made me think about how I deal with students ion the learning environment and how do I treat everyone. I also have to reevaluate how I handle the class as a group while still taking care of the individual.

I totally agree that different needs of the students learning wise, makes the trenches become creative on how you should delivery the material. I also believe that the course content has to have some rigor in it, otherwise it will be a boring and lame class for all who take it, except the very uneducated students.

Yes I agree that the learning of students names is crucial and it allows the student to feel less anxious about the class. Using the syllabus and policies and procedures is also good to go over, but I think the best is what are your expectations as an instructor, and how you will be evaluating them as students.
