I totally agree with the fact that an instructor must hold his or her students accountable. I've seen situations where an instructor didn't hold his students accountable for their work and so lost control of his class.

I feel it is genuinely important to ask students for feedbacks so, it gives the instructor a chance to hear directly from students on how they feel about the course. Therefore, it gives us an opportunity to adjust or change anything that may improve the studentsâ€™ learning experience

Learning activities

I truly believe that people learn best when they try for themselves. The challenge I feel though, is to get them engaged in a way that they feel "invinted" and "supported" throughout, especially if the activity/exercice is the first time around.

I guess I understand that music may motivate an individual or a group in thinking about a topic in a positive manner but I'm not sure that it would be appropriate/productive for every individual, group(s) or situations.

In the past, Iâ€™ve tried different techniques with challenging students to get the most out of them; but I have to agree that the â€œbest resultsâ€ that Iâ€™ve had thus far was when I gave them clear & direct instructions.

Creating an Evaluation System

When evaluating students, I feel an instructor must use a variety of methods such as multiple choice, true or false, matching choice, and essay questions to make sure the student are being assessed in different ways.

Troubleshooting Instructional Strategies

I feel that if an instructor is having issues delivering materials to the class, having anonymous report card given back is a great way to assess what is happening. Especially when students donâ€™t feel as though theyâ€™re being targeted.

Selecting Instructional Delivery Methods

I found it interesting to read through this course that the maximum number of points should be five on one slide for power point presentations. I guess it makes since that too many points can make things appear cluttered.

preparing yourself for the classroom

I feel it is important to get handouts & all other copied materials done early because it shows to students that you are organized and ready for them.
