About me

Activity

In my opinion questioniong as many "gray areas" and so an instructor should review/change questions depending on an individual's/group's learning style.
In my opinion an instructor must adjust/change his lesson plans on regular basis to be able communicate information to all types of learners.
In my opinion, motivation is a key element to a course's success; I feel it energizes students in different ways and “pushes” them to do better.
A simple fact that in my opinion needs to be kept in mind on daily basis.

Different tactics can be used to try to make the "retention demon" go away but for me what has worked best has been keeping the students involved, in charge, and interdependent to one another.
Over the years I have observed many reactions & behavior styles, especially when the two groups come together. Some assume “parent’s figure” and others “kid’s figure” but sometimes it is surprising to see the role being reversed…
I personaly think that an instrutor should vary his or her delivering course content style by using various techiques while keeping the goals & objectives for fear of getting board.
In my opinion, it is critical that the instructor get that first impression right the first day of class. To do so, I feel inquiring about students' background the first day is a great way to "break the ice" and get in "tune" with some of the dynamics.
I truly believe that planing & prepation are at the "heart" of teaching. These two elements set the tone for students & help in making the course a success.
