I agree as well; I usually review my quizes with the class during the same class session or the next session. This helps students remember and understand the content.

I think it's just basic student nature to want to know how they are doing in a particular class or assignmemnt. I'm sure your studnts appreciate it when you are able to get their reults back to them quickly. It also helps the teacher know if more work is needed in a given area.

As teachers we have to measure progress. So, if we're going to quiz, to me, it only makes sense to keep them succinct, to the point and relevant, and then review them immediately so that I can guide my students down the right path.

Reviewing the tests and any wrong answers right away helps students replace the "bad info" with "good info" immediately.
Early clarification of errors made will help the student to move on to the next project/topic, improve their method of study and do a better job of studying.
This time offers an early opportunity to give help and support tips on how to prepare for the next exam.
I agree. Going over the exam after its graded will help the student know where they are weak and need work.

I try to do the same as well. This helps them to be able to review the material and to see how well they did. Also, it helps them to, hopefully, retain this information, since often times the material is cumulative.
Going over the quiz or final allows the student to understand any questions they may have missed and to also prepare students for the final exam. Students become very frustrated when they missed the same question twice.
I totally agree with your response of going over the exam after it is graded. It allows the students to get immediate feedback and to prevent future problems!!!

Immediate feedback is a good way to conduct quizzes. Students can clarify where they may have erred, and the correct information gets emphasized. I agree students like to get their grades on quizzes and tests as soon as possible.
