I also use different versions of the test, however, since the students use a coding book for the coding portion, I have had to hand out the portion where they do not use their book first and when they complete that portion, I collect it and give them the portion that they use their book for. This way, they cannot write the answers to the non coding part in their book.

That's a cool method. I'm fortunate to have testing done electronically where bothe questions are scarmbled and even the the same question will scamble the order of correct response. Since we used this, I've caught no cheaters, but a couple of "suspects" grades have fallen - hmmmm, wonder why?
