grading
I teach electrical class's i like to grade on hand on projects we also take our stundent out doing work out in the field working with other people in the trades this lets the stundents fill they have done something good for someone else.

Grading, whether the information is classroom, clinic, lab, or field trip, should be fair and measure the learning that occured.

By teaching in the field on Vocational courses, not only are they getting a hands on experience. They are againing knowledge that they might not get from a class room enviroment. Real world experience is priceless!

I completely agree. It is very important to obtain immediate feedback for both you and the student on the ability they exhibit and as a reflection of how well your instruction was in the content of the course or assignment. I do the same thing with my students and also teach in a vocational trade and it is very important in this enviroment.
