Being adaptable is important because the individuals who comprise the class have different needs. One teaching style may not fit all. If there are any learning disabled students in the class, they may require some extra teaching techniques than the rest of the class. Meeting the needs of the students and teaching the material is the name of the game.

I think we do need to be able to change our styles, even when teaching the same content over and over. Not only for ourselves so we don't get bored teaching the same content, but also for the students. Each class may have a completely different vibe depending on how well the students may or may not already know each other, and how they interact with you and their classmates.

Because we are all different, each teacher brings a unique set of experiences, viewpoints, and personality to the classroom. If we want our students to have a meaningful experience in our classes, then it is important for them to get to know us. I believe we need to have a sense of humor, to be in command, and to be fair to all students.

I don't necessarily think you need to change your style so much as adapt to the classroom. I teach the same content, but change my style to match that of the class, or to adapt to the different learning styles of the students.

by making it fit the culture of the specific class and gauge their level of interest

Don't be afraid to change and try something new everytime until you figure something works. Be very flexible because every class has something different that may make you change things that work for previous classes.
Always try to relate things to the subject so they have something to compare to.

plan ahead be prepared to change delivery methods quickly. Be able to adapt to your students- time of year, weather, current events. Keep positive but not too restrictive.

I think it depends on the class. Some classes are enjoyable some may not.
