field trip
I really have not used field trips, though I would certainly like to implement this aspect in the classroom. I am going to look at starting field trips to those agencies that sponser our externships.

Field trips and guest speakers are a great way to renew interest in the material you’ve been discussing in class. It gives the student’s a chance to speak with people (possibly in the field they are training for), and gain a different and new perspective about the topics at hand.
Also, they might get the chance to ask some questions about the topics you’ve discussed and get a better understanding overall.

im not sure that field trip are a good idea,i almost got into a fight at one

A fielfd trip provides a dimension of learning not available in the classroom, and usually, not even anywhere on campus. Real world work environments are awesome motivators and have the capacity to instill commitment and effort to focus on doing well in class so they can perform well in class. I really feel these should be mandatory for many classes.
