I enjoy getting guest speakers in they help the students see the real world of their career through another persons eyes as well as helps me stay connected to the trade. I like to find individuals that are in different fields to show variety

One source that is often overlooked is graduates. They bring enthusiasm, knowledge about the profession, and are familiar with the program and school, which is something non-graduates cannot bring. Another source is "testimonial" oriented speakers. These would be end users (patients, clients, etc.) who can offer a different perspective that that of the worker in the given profession.
