Also, students get a bit frazzled when they see their instructor hurried, fretting, and hassled just before class begins, possibly preventing the ability to ask questions, or the instructor to give any individual attention. Prepping keeps class running smoothly, and gives credibility to the instructor, along with trust.

One way to look at the benefits of good preparation is to look at the consequences of poor preparation. Student attentiveness, morale, respect, and class control can be diminished if failure to prepare occurs.
