Stronger instructors seek and want feedback. It's the only true way to gain perspective on our effectiveness, from the students standpoint.

I completely agree! As an instructor I encourage my students to give me feedback on the class and strengths and weaknesses each term. So, I make tweaks and changes to improve based on their feedback. I enjoy taking a hard look at what I do well to share with other instructors and what I tend to do that doesn't contribute to the learning environment.
