Hi Enrique:
I think students remember more of a given topic when there are stories that accompany the lesson. People like stories. We justy have to make sure the sharing is related to the topic, is not too long, or takes away from the lesson.

Hi Jacquelyn:
Sure, without the discussion, questioning, examples and illustrations, and relating to the topic, the PPT is probably going to be quite bland. I know it would not be too interesting for students to participate if slides without interaction was all that was given.

Hi Kevin:
I think the best PPT slides are really very simple with some color, main discussion points, and not too much busy action on the slide, which can distract or even annoy some students. If we watch the news, most of the time you'll notice an information slide is a basic background with a contrasting color to make just two three or four major points. But the newscaster is taliking behind the slides, elaborating on the information. By example, I think this is a good method to duplicate in the classroom.
There are a lot of extras that can be added to PPT slides, but just because they're available doesn't mean they have to be used (or at least very infrequently).

i agree you should also have interaction
