powerpoints
I completed a Microsoft Office course offered by our school last quarter. I gained a great deal of powerpoint skill from it. Of course I'll be a work in progress, but I would recommend add'l powerpoint-specific training to anyone as you can get alot out of it.
I agree power point and using pictures are a great attention graber and break up the the routine. Having your P.P. showing real life situations are wonderfull.
I recently learned power point. I find it to be a great resource. It's fun, full of color, pictures can be added to make it more interesting. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I agree. Adding our own slides or info makes it more personal. I always try to add a personal related career-field moment story into each slide. If gives the student a glimps into their future career. It also helps end the powerpoint with a discussion.
PowerPoint presentations that accompany the text book are great but can be even better when you add/delete to support your own delivery. This is especially true when you add movement/sound to static slides.
80% of my information is done through Power point presentations. I have even been able to change our Power points so new information was added and the students could learn more information in the class
I have found that powerpoint presentations are very helpful in helping explain the lesson. Students seem to like this kind alternative way to help increse retention.
