combine elements of more than one type of delivery methods

is the best way for the students to learn

Hi Debra,
Great! I understand not all classes have this luxuary, but the reality is unless we are being entertained (like at a movie theater), it is very difficult to stay really focused for much longer. I don't mean we have to change topics necessarily, but changing the flow by moving to a different media, or activity, or method of involvement. Variety really can make a difference.

I totally agree, I try to change methods every 20 minutes or less to keep the students interested.

Hi Sanjay,
Really, all students have different learning styles and preferences, although I believe most have one or two that are dominante. If we can detremine how a student (or group of students) learn, we can customize or delivery style to accomodate the prefered learning method. As before, the more variety, the better.
